How to link to electronic articles

Why link

Managing links

Using article DOIs from original publishers
Click here for instructions for linking to articles from the following publishers:
     -    Blackwell Synergy
     -    Cambridge Journals Online
     -    Emerald Management Xtra
     -    Informaworld
(Routledge, Taylor & Francis and Psychology Press)
     -    Oxford Journals Online
     -    Sage Journals Online
     -    ScienceDirect
(Elsevier)
     -    SpringerLink
(incorporating Kluwer)
     -    Wiley Interscience

Non-DOI sources - methods for linking to articles
Aggregators (e.g. Business Source Premier) who licence full text articles from original publishers (e.g. ScienceDirect) have their own in-house methods for linking to articles. We have produced specific instructions for our subscribed aggregator databases, i.e.:
     -    Heinonline
     -    JSTOR
     -    Project Muse
     -    EBSCO
(including Academic Search Premier, Business Source Premier,
Health Source: Nursing/ Academic Edition, Professional Development Collection, PsycArticles)

Please note: where you have the option, we recommend you link to articles which have DOIs in preference to non-DOI sources.
