Using the library catalogue

The Library catalogue lists all the print material held in the library. It will also tell you if we have an e-book version of a title you are looking for and link you directly to it.

Search the catalogue to find:
   - Books (print and e-books)
   - Encylopedias & dictionaries
   - Journals, magazines and newspapers in print format
   - DVDs, videos
   - Theses and dissertations

What you cannot find using the Library catalogue:

Journal articles:

You can look up the title of a journal on the catalogue and see whether the library has it in print format and what years we hold. However, you cannot look up the title or the author of a specific journal article. Nor can you search for journal articles on a topic.

Book Chapters:
Where your reference is to a chapter in a book, you cannot search for the author of the chapter, but must use the name of the editor of the whole book.
